I'm not posting as frequently. I have plenty of time, but not much to say, and what does go through my mind at times isn't exactly positive. Archie's car broke down this morning. It is 10 years old and has probably 170,000+ miles on it, and we can't afford another car payment. Add to that the fact that I'm not working until my arm is better, Archie is having trouble getting overtime, and it just equates to tons of stress.
I've gotten out to take long walks the last two days which does help some, but I'm rather teary otherwise. Don't get me wrong, I have my happy, grateful moments too. I've spent alot of time praying and trying to trust that God will help us through this time and not give us anything we can't handle, and while I'm sure that he will, our credit doesn't want to take the hit either!
So, don't think I've abandoned my blog, I haven't, but there isn't much going on right now, and when I'm feeling negative, I figure it's best not to drag everyone else down too.
Cast comes off in less than 3 more weeks! :)

What's New?
Well, I went on Wednesday for my follow up on my arm, and to get recasted. I am now sporting a really pretty Raven's purple cast (per Jack's request). No surgery needed!!! I am still having some periods of swelling which hurt like crazy, but a little elevation usually helps.
The bad news is that this doctor wants to keep me in this hard cast for 4 weeks, then a removeable brace for a bit after that while I am in physical therapy. He estimates I can go back to work in another 6-8 weeks. I was hoping to be back to work 6 weeks after the breaks. Not so! So, to supplement our income, I've been trying to find a job I can do from home. Not having a lot of luck with that either.
So, I have been working on my garden. I have 4 cucumbers that have sprouted that I just moved outside. My tomato plant is sprouted, but I am keeping that inside for a few more weeks until the temperatures become more consistent. I have plenty of carrots sprouting, and one lettuce, all of which have been moved outside. I planted tulips, gerbera daisies, freesia, and blue anemone the other day in our front garden as well. I don't have a green thumb, so if anything makes it to come back again next year, I will be impressed. If our veggies make it to fruit, I will be really impressed!
